Biography

Vaibhav Bajpai is a PhD student in the Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (CNDS) research group at Jacobs University Bremen, Germany. He is advised by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Schönwälder. He received his Masters degree in Computer Science from Jacobs University Bremen , Germany in 2012, and his Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, India in 2009. He worked as a systems engineer at Infosys Technologies Limited, India for a year before coming to Germany.

PhD project description

His current research focuses on Internet performance measurements using large-scale measurement platforms such as SamKnows and RIPE Atlas . He is interested in understanding the impact of network infrastructure changes such as measuring IPv6 performance from end-user networks.
